Driving Directions:
From Mexico City take Mexico-Publa highway, take the exit to Perote, Xalapa, Tezuitlan via corta on the 137th km, you will reach Huamantla tollbooth, pass a tunnel and kilometers ahead take the detour to Perote, 20km ahead you will find Cantona tollbooth, go straight ahead on Perote option, on the 13th km you will find a “ salida a Martinez de la Torre” sign, keep on going and take the exit to Altotonga, drive down Azatlanīs mountain (do not go to Tezuitlan), pass Tlacopayan, Martinez de la Torre and San Rafael, keep on the road until the lighthouse, at that point turn on Poza Ricaīs highway, pass Casitas and Monte Gordo at the end of this town at the sea side you will find Azucar.
By Air :
The best option to reach Hotel Azucar is by air; Departing from Atizapanīs Airports on board a Cessna 206 light aircraft (45 min flight).
